Making Connections is my theme as 2008-09 HFMA National Chairman. The leadership that you demonstrate is a testament to the power of connections and the role of HFMA in making those connections happen on the chapter, regional, and national levels. We need to connect our knowledge of healthcare business issues with patients, employers, payers, and others who are affected by our healthcare system. HFMA is connecting contacts with content.”

Our award winning Chapter was founded in 1954, the Northeast Ohio Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association has grown from its initial twenty members to over six hundred. A mid-sized chapter by national standards, using Cleveland as a “home port” we cover ten Ohio counties serving members south to Mansfield, west to Vermillon and east to the Pennsylvania border. North of Cleveland we normally serve walleye or perch.

The major service we deliver to our members is our programs/meetings function. Blending education activities with networking opportunities, these functions help all of us become better positioned for professional advancement.
